Warp3D issues

Hi I have a Cybervision 64/3D, and what I have understood could even Cybervision 64/3D use Warp3D, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm running AOS 3.9, have Cybergraphics 3.x. No problems when installing Warp3D for CGFX 3.x.

But, when I'm running the included demos, it crashes. WarpTest says there is no driver available. Even like ADescent for Warp3D crashes. What am I missing?

Thanks for help!

The Warp3D 4.2 package on Aminet says it has the driver (Virge) and supports the CV3D. I would check that you have the W3D_Virge.library installed.

Yes both W3D_Virge.library and W3D_CyberGFX.library are installed in Libs:Warp3D. But is that enough? Will it just access the files when it launches a Warp3D app?

It should find them okay. Did the installation of Warp3D go okay? No errors?

You could try this in your startup sequence to see if it helps, if it's not already there.

assign libs: sys:libs/Warp3D ADD

I tried that now, and checked with Assign that it was added. But still the same thing. I ran Snoopdos and it seems that it loads both cybergraphics.library (Ver 0) and Wark3D.library (Ver 2) when I try a Warp3D app, but with results OK.

My cgxsystem.library is v42.1
warp3d.library is v4.2
W3D_CyberGFX.library is v4.0
W3D_Virge.library is v3.0

Thanks for the help though!

It sounds like a config thing with Warp3D and what driver to use. Unfortunately I don't CGFX or Warp3D to check further for you.

Besides low Virge memory: The need of full cybergraphics driver 4.x (not 3.x) and warp3d version settings (v3 or v4). I don't remember if last warp3d needs latest cybergfx or by the same token old test warp3d programs were compiled with those in mind .
