A4000 CyberStormSCSI device?
My SCSI hard drive was defect, so i got a new one, but hdinsttools won't recognize it, so i thought there was something like a disk with it's own tools or something bundled with the cyberstorm, but i can't remember anymore. could anyone be so kind and tell me what i'm doing wrong?

If you're using WB3.1 hdtoolbox you must change the tooltype of hdtoolbox to the right device, it points to plain scsi.device by default |

Whichever program you use, don't forget to tell it where it should search. E.g. cybscsi.device for CyberStormMK2 or cybppc.device for CS MK3.
The Cyberstorm SCSI disk can be found here: http://powerup.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=de&page=13 |

click on HDToolbox icon and on the Menu bar go to 'Icon' information.
There you can change the SCSI Device driver to some thing like this SCSI_Device=cybscsi.device. Or open a shell and type 'HDToolbox cybscsi.device' |

You need to copy the Phase5 040/060 libraries to your new disk.

Unpack these into your LIBS folder, they are the latest CPU libs |
