I appreciate that lots would have loved to have played it in the past, but the past is gone, and for whatever reasons it wasn't released, nothing can be done about it. Let's just enjoy it for what it is and move on and not hold grudges, because there's plenty of other completed games that likely will never see the light of day. Be thankful we have it, and not necessarily linger on just how long it took to get here. |

Could this amazing story inspire those other lost, but completed, games to surface? We can only hope, as we did with Putty Squad and look what happened
Also, did System 3 ever consider putting a 'Donate' button on the Putty Squad page? |

Exactly 20 years after getting the original putty with my A600. This is such a wonderful present. Thank you to all who made this happen!

It seems that not everybody in the Amiga community is listening to the wishes of System 3 and EAB :

I'll admit to feeling a touch of giddyness on Xmas Eve when I checked - of all places - the WHDLoad site (I seem to look at it each day now out of interest) and noticed not only the first "New: XXXX (XXXX) done by Codetapper" in an ice age , but the fact the game's name was "Putty Squad". Without the "Demo" at the end. That's when I rushed over to EAB to check out the news for myself, followed by a visit of System 3's page, then to the download link, and then my contribution to their download counter. (Would it be okay to redownload it a few more times just to bump it up?)
Must remember to join System 3's FB page to give them a little thanks and a Happy Christmas. A big thanks of course must also go to Santa Galahad! |

I haven't been able to get it to work on my HxC floppy emulator, don't know what I'm doing wrong. It boots, mangles the screen and then crashes.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved. Apart from the obvious importance of having any resurrected Amiga game in our hands, I must say that this particular title is fantastic. What a great Christmas present!

I think it was a request by System 3 to link to their site until the new year to gauge how well it's being received by the number of downloads from their site. They should have put this in the readme then uploaded a new one with the current licence in the new year.

I have some virgin DS/DD floppy disks that I was saving for something special, and looks like I found it!
Works great on NTSC (In PAL mode) A.T. A1200 with Blizzard IV 50MHz. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen. |
