Looking forward to the second part Earok. Your first part played a big part in me coding (actually even starting) the Killer Bees game. I know it was a really basic game but without your tutorials this stepping stone to hopefully better projects would not have been possible.

Awesome work, hope there are more tutorials like that on the cue

There is any possibility of enlarge those tutorials with the powerful AmiBlitz new functions?

Thanks guys, much appreciated

@gazj82 the second part is on Johnny's show - [ Show youtube player ]

#AlaRomero sorry, I don't use AmBlitz myself! Since it relies on there being an FPU it limits what I can do with it (my primary interest is in stock AGA hardware and below)

I probably should try to arrange airing a third part in December, any requests? I can do maybe five of these topics (though I'm also open to suggestions)

* Functions and statements
* Pointers and variable addresses
* Inline ASM
* VBlank interrupt
* Sound effects
* Tracker music (using an external library)
* Including binary data ("inc bin")
* CD32 pad
* CD32 music
* CD32 loading and saving
* Loading and saving files and data
* Custom copper list

Thank you for doing these!

I would be interested in a how to combine tracker music with sound fx (should one channel be exclusive for fx etc.) Also, custom copper lists would be nice to hear about!

@WitchMaster no worries! The plan for chapter 3 of the tutorial is now:

Part 11. SFX
Part 12. Music
Part 13. Custom Copper
Part 14. CD32 Pad
Part 15. Functions

Yep, shows up on YouTube no problem.

Not sure why YouTube links are not displaying in the forum. When I make a new post, I can see all the YouTube links (even from other people's posts), but after I submit it all of them disappear (get hidden) again.

@Earok @ Amiten

Hi, I loved the first 2 parts, there has got to be others out there who are looking for more of this on Blitz2.. Im learning as I go but I find it MUCH more difficult than other Basic`s because the manual is outdated by new library's and source code that is well commented like Erik's is seemingly thin on the ground. Id honestly pay someone for lessons (@Earok lol) Is there any chance of the third Episode + ???

Hey guys!

Apologies, it's my fault that part 3 still isn't out yet. Amiten graciously offered use of his show yet again but that was the weekend of the Global Game Jam (which I used to port Road Avenger to Amiga). I'll also be going on a stream tomorrow to discuss that - https://www.twitch.tv/events/KhpfAZx0SaeGjis5zbM_DA

But anyway, I'll ask Amiten if we can have a part 3 show soon.

Tomorrow I'll be on Amiten TV again with part 3 of the tutorial!

Hopefully there'll be a part 4 as well, but part 3 will cover the following topics.

Part 11. SFX
Part 12. Music
Part 13. Custom Copper
Part 14. CD32 Pad
Part 15. Functions
