Yup, this is mighty hard. So cut those developers some slack guys. Recreating our beloved technology from scratch is no easy pickings.

The return of the investment in time and money isn't the easiest to recoup in this niche, so i guess investing in using "spare time" to develop this ideas makes them for long winded projects. However it doesn't matter for me if the FPGA boards come out in 2013, 2015 or 2020. I got enough toys to tinker with.

Oh come on... at least make it:
Code:
10 GOTO 197310 20 END 197310 GOTO 20 On a more serious note there was talk about that Thomas continues, but it's not called NatAmi anymore. It's worth to check the last page of posts here. Trying to find anything on Google regarding the project's status leads to nothing. Even the main page doesn't mention anything... |

For the retail version, change as follows: Code:
20 PRINT "Insert your credit card into the floppy" 30 END Last edited by prowler; 20 February 2013 at 22:51. Reason: Fixed quote. |

30 boards or so have shipped. 100 more are being built now, and more to follow. The board is FCC and CE certified, and the component sourcing and assembly are all in place. A USB keyboard/mouse interface is up and running, and I am really really close to a new core / ARM software. Cheers, MikeJ |
