Lol yeah, feels more at home.
I was sitting there on the edge of the bed playing Golden Axe for ages LOL, I forgot how well that game handle'd 1 button. And you're right the games look better on the old CRT I had to hack the CWB ADV a bit though due to flicker so I've got the Igame and Dopus for example off of the CWB Full version but it all works! I see you got your cable for the 1084 monitor... I have a 1084s which I assume just means mine has speakers I suppose - they give a good picture - I much prefer playing Amiga games on this type of monitor compared to going through the Indivision onto a flat screen.
The only thing about the 1084 range is that they have this round pin RGB input and not a common RGB Scart type of connection at the back - it makes me wonder if you could ever connect another games console to it - I suppose you would have to make up or buy a specific cable... |

Hi Peter. Im using composite connection now as I couldnt get the right lead but anyway the monitor has a scart socket but I only have the one now. Anyway the picture on the composite is much better on the 1084 then it was on other tvs so its fine

So the 1084 has an actual RGB scart socket at the back but the 1084s doesn't - rats just my luck...!
I bet Airey has a round pin lead in his shed. Composite looks ok though... |

But I was surprised the Composite was so good on it, Conmposite looked awful on my Flat screen TV's with the same Amiga. Your 1084s, does it have a round 6 pin or 8 pin socket? The lead I have is 6 pin so maybe its of some use to you? Steve. Last edited by fitzsteve; 09 February 2011 at 09:38. |

You can't really make a generalization that the 1084 has a scart connector. There's many kinds. :-)
6 pin din, scart, db9 depending on the unit. |

Since in the past I owed an A600 with M-Tec 630+Clockport adapter (it was way before A602 and A603) I can assure you that it would fit just fine.
The socket for Galye+PCB is very low so it can be under Apollo. You can check out how it looked on mine: |

I guess we need to change the title of this thread to Apollo 620 Pr0n!
I know Jens is producing new A600 Accelerators, but I couldn't help myself when I saw Chiark was selling his Apollo 620, this was the one I really wanted back when I bought the Apollo 630 because unlike the 630 this one has the 68k fallback for when I want to play those old games on floppy. I also picked up an A603 and at some point want to add an Indivision ECS but for now I'm using an S-Video adapter which is doing an OK job. The A603 arrived today and I thought I'd take a couple of pics whilst installing... |
