If I can confirm that problem, I will try and fix it tomorrow.

I can confirm that there is a checksum error on Disk Block 1758, but it is not trivial. The code appears to be corrupted from approximately offset 0x120 to the end of that block (offset 0xDBD20-DBDFF).

It might be possible to fix it if I can find suitable replacement code elsewhere on that disk or one of the others; I have not tried looking yet.

If not, and DDNI has the original disk, it might yield that block to TSGUI using retries, for example, or something more suited to recovering corrupted disks. Let's wait and see.

Thanks. I don't actually need it myself; I'm just trying to fix the checksum error on the Touch-Up v3.07 disk for skforty.

The corrupt part of the code may be duplicated in the the earlier version.

Do you actually have the Touch-Up v3.07 original disk or a copy of it?

The other disks in the set contain no code with which to fix bad Disk Block 1758 in the Migraph Touch-Up v3.07 disk image. It looks like this is another bad TOSEC dump.

Now I have some better news.

Here is another Migraph Touch-Up v3.07 disk image with no bad sectors which I found online. Again, it contains no code with which to fix the original one; it appears to be another disk - perhaps a subversion of the software.

Though this is an old thread I was actually looking for the software.

the good thing is that I got diskerrors too, using the defect 3.07 version from TOSEC..

this made me look in the box of my other Golden Image hand scanner..
and behold..
I found a copy of Touch-Up v3.10.

The disk wasn't an original but I did start the program and it said v3.10

Thanks, tomse!

Edit: Emufan has just uploaded versions 1.04, 2.50 and 3.16AD of the Migraph Touch-Up software to The Zone (found on the EAB File Server in the Commodore_Amiga/Collection/BBS/ folder.
