btw, I wouldn't buy parallel port based Willem's anymore. "TrueUSB" should be minimum requirement (or any other real USB based programmer)
Not all parallel ports are compatible (check the big KS programming thread) |

Thanks guys, i've been looking into one of these for ages now, not just for KS...other chips too...and i have a few old mobo's with dead bios's i want to ressurect.

@Anemos,
my friend, I am sorry to say that either of those links wont work with Kickstart 27c400/800 chips without an addapter. However the second one can do the PLCC vairients of the Kickstart chips, so an adapter could be cheaper to get hold of. I am sure that Toni will have an idea on what to get, infact I do remember that Toni got a recently new-ish USB programmer |

KS3.1 I think is the exception. The copyrights were not transferred from Amiga Inc. to KMOS and so they languish in no-mans land a the moment
