Can I create ADF's on my PC??
Hi,
I hope someone may be able to help me. I transferred a whole load of my old MOD's from Amiga to PC using null modem cable. The mods were created using Soundtracker Pro II and will not load into the tracking software I use on the PC. I have managed to get hold of STPII and managed to get it running in WinUAE so that problem is resolved..... My problem now is that I don't know how to open the MOD's that are on my PC using STPII running in WinUAE!! Can someone explain in idiot terms (yes I am struggling that much!) how I can either make the software see the files on the PC hard drive (if thats possible) or tell me how I can turn the mods into ADF's so I can just put them in WinUAE DF0: and read them that way?? Any advice is greatly received! Rob. |

WinUAE: D:\ or whatever as HD ADF Opus: Create an empty ADF, copy the files into the ADF |

Ok. I will explain how I solved part of my problem as I am still stuck with one thing....
Firstly, you can find an ADF copy of Soundtracker Pro II HERE ... just click 'Telecharger' to download it. I used ADF Opus to convert my smaller mods to ADF's and then opened them using STPII. Now, can someone please explain or point me to a thread that explains how I can mount my larger mod files on a virtual HD to open in STPII in WinUAE... Sorry for the dumb noob questions but thats what I am!! (oh yeah... Deliplayer won't play mods created on STPII) |

Just put all your mods in a folder/directory in windows.
Then open WinUAE, load your standard config, go the the harddrive tab/page and click on Add Directory. Then chose the folder/directory with the mods in it. For device name and label, something like DH1: and 'Mods' will do. |
