I confirm. It's just a bad dump. Most files can be repaired but some not.
Please retry!

Interesting program for some damaged disks:

Indeed, just try to dump the disk again.
As wroten in previous post, very important is to get a undamaged main Exe file.
Most other files are more than likely the same as in Gazza's Super Soccer.
Maybe its even possible to adapt Quartex crack then.

Byte Bandit doesn't "eat" files, it's a bootblock virus which doesn't really do any harm except for locking the machine under certain circumstances.

I made a new dump with DiskRipper (its in the zone now). There are 24 errors on the disk the program can't correct.

There are fewer errors but some are fatal

If only a few sectors of the "gazza" file are damaged, it's a possibility that the Gazza version might have the same data in sequence (hoping that it's some table of data rather than code which differs) and you could splice the good data over the bad.

@gogoac

can you repeat the dump by increasing the retry parameters of DiskRipper?

Done and zoned. Now it has 12 bad sectors instead of 24. But I think the main gazza file is still damaged.

Remember, i am not a coder and/or cracker, so members with knowledge please check zoned version, thanks.

Amazing mai!

Thank you very much. It really seems to be working.

There are a couple of bugs in your version. I manually spliced in the missing sector from the original Gazza last night and adjusted the addresses (but didn't finish it) and when I do a binary compare with your version, there's a couple of small errors:

At offset $cab change $78 to $79 - fixes move.l #$252f0,(title_ad).L -> move.l #m4ct,(title_ad).L
At offset $cc7, change $3d to $3c - fixes move.w #??,d2 -> move.w #$3c,d2

I've uploaded my main exes to the zone aswell, they're cracked slightly differently (using less bytes!) but your crack itself worked fine. Well done!
