snes9x no sound ?

i can't manage to launch snes9x 1.18d with sound ?
all work well but no sound ?
I use this syntax : snes9x -s path/rom.smc
Is it correct or i missed something ?
I use winuae, don't kick my ass because i emul a snes on winuae, i just made a test

Just use ZSNES instead. Its much better.

I agree, Zsnes is the best.
BUT: some very few games actually do run better in Snes9X.
Examples are Stunt Race FX and Starfox 2.
I also remember Mario Kart as having problems in Zsnes...

I think snes has better mode 7 support.
