The first game I bought was either F-16 Falcon or Battle of Britain.

BTW, one thing I like about this forum is that no-one blinks an eye when a thread from 2004 is continued as if the 19 years in between never existed

I never bought an Amiga game during Amiga's prime time or when the games were actually released (*grin*). I think Spherical was the first game I bought in somewhere not so early 90s I loved that game for some reason, especially the 2-player mode. Then came Rotor, SpeedBall 1 (which had RW errors... grrr) and a shitload of whatever boxed stuff I could hoard.

Released 1993, so you must have been a naughty boy before then

Cool game though, quite a unique platformer mechanic. At the time, at least.

It’s also the only game I ever bought in that era…

Yes, I bought my first Amiga in 1991 (it was brand new A600) and pirated as hell. Then Globdule came with crappy crack from Crystal and it was the reason why I wanted working original.

I didn't get my first system until 1992. I think Desert Strike might just have been the first game I bought for it.

There were various others, but the next one I remember being excited to buy was Syndicate.

First game we had on the Amiga was "Mouse Trap", the first original game I bought from my own money should be "Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards". You should be adult to get it, but I wasn't but I somehow got it. It's been so much time since then, I can't remember the circumstances.

My first games I bought were (same purchase) : jimmy white snooker, midwinter 2 and Turrican2. 3 of the best amiga games in a row. Bought at a low price in a furniture store (really).

Man, you must have used your Delorean to get into the 1992 when A600 was released then back to your 1991
