Is there anywhere that sells the Commodore series books in eBook form for like $5 - charging what they do atm for the eBooks is just criminal imo so i refuse to buy them.

Just curious, the commodore book this is the second one of cost in hardcover (only paper option, amazon co uk) 18.71 GBP. The kindle version cost 8.54 GBP. So a considable saving on the eBook version.

If you need eBook format as in epub,

http://www.kobobooks.com/ebook/Commo...pZA/page1.html

11.19 usd. which is aprox 6.9 GBP

Is that really a bad price? While it is cost saving to use electronic vs paper distribution, the author and publisher still need to feed their kids so the format should only reflect the cost of production and distribution vs the lower cost of electronic distribution. Not give it away.

Thanks for the link, I was seeing prices closer to $20 which is just a joke for an ebook.

Amazon.ca says: Publication Date: Jan 22 2013.

They didn't even bother to send me an email that the preorder date had been revised, since it's a normal practice for amazon.ca to get whatever items are published stunningly late anyway.

I'm loving this book, it was $10.39aud which IMO is a fair price for an ebook.

Thats probably because it is a textbook form MIT. Most text books from College courses are pretty dry.
Just an aside, the first book "The Commodore years" was over a year late also. How soon we all forget

It's actually kinda fitting that an announced book about Commodore's Amiga years would have multiple delays and then become "vaporware".
