Torrent client or filesharing apps for amiga

Anyone know of any filesharing apps for the amiga? I enjoy going online with the amiga and would like to be able to download stuff...and before the ethics discussions start there is legitimate stuff shared.

I've googled but to no avail.

For OS4 there is CTorrent. I assume you're searching for a 3.x app though?

Of course there are filesharing apps for Amiga! There is even one that has everything, all in one pack. It's called AmiGift, it's shareware and it's well worth paying the registration fee if you want torrent support enabled.

Download it here http://amigift.sourceforge.net/

did you got the correct library for sure?
i'd say it's this one: http://aminet.net/package/util/libs/asyncioppc
( asyncioppc/libs/asyncio.library ). Libs folder as destination should suffice.

I've no amiga setup here, so i cant test.

Try this one (OS 3.x), together with a GUI to use it:

http://aminet.net/comm/tcp/CTorrentUI.lha

Good luck!

oh, hmm, I'm clueless, sorry. meanwhile gulliver's advice sounds like a good option

Edit#1: you could try snoopdos while starting the program, maybe something different gives the trouble.

Too bad that CTorrent has problems with multiple trackers.
I was unable to download anything from TPB latelty.
I even compiled newest version 3.3.2 but same.

Maybe some additional options are needed ?
