The replay is lame because you don't know how to use it!

thats because you have to program it yourself. The Action Replay isn't lame, just requires a bit of knowlege, but with it, you can produce just about any trainer you like. |

For the purpose of this game once you find the address where the lives etc is located it's not needed to actually remove the instruction that decreases the lives..
Just do an M <mem addy> and make it FF (255 lives). .You could do the same each boot.. would take oooh 30 secs! |

I know that! remember I told you I bought it and used it myself. trust me on this one! you don't have to explain me how the mkIII works because I know! now what I'd really like is programming those +++ myself (i think with a programm called trainermaker) that makes it possible for others to choose at the beginning of the game. e.g. look at the games -rob- trained. I'm pretty sure he didn't use the mkIII |

-rob- used a replay 3 and 4 (trust me I know)
The replay 3 is used to train the game and then an asm routine is programmed so you get the menu and it also puts the changes within the game etc.. |

goto http://flashtro.com there are a lot of asm tutorials.. some on cracking, some on training etc.. 99.9% of the tutorials use either the action replay 3 or 4 and you use these with winuae or on a real amiga

and for your info and infinate lives in army moves simply nop out addresses
$32f2 $32f4 That is quick and dirty and took me 5 secs to do but.. the life counter still decreases only the game no longer compares life counter to 0 and branch to the end of game routine. If you follow the next branch you'll find the routine that decreases the actual life counter.. would make more sense to remove that |
