The WHDLoad version does work too! See Retroplay's post how to fix the problem with path name.

If you add DATA=data tooltype in 8-Bit Jungle it'll work, the one on ftp already has that enabled in icon.

I have no clue how to do that Retroplay...how can i do that

It's been some time since I used The GameBase frontend, but here goes.

When you add the slave in the Gemus script field try adding this written in bold text.
Right click, select extras then WHDLoad.
Click on Edit in the bottom where it says "Use these fields" then edit the script something along the lines of this:

cd=dh1:[Demo];
whdload=[Demo].slave DATA=data PRELOAD;

(if needed you can add CUSTOM tooltypes here as well).
