Amigaguide

i try to modify an amigaguide document from windows and then from Amiga i cannot more open.
There is an Amigaguide editor or i must write with text editor?

The strange thing is that with WinGuide (a porting of AmigaGuide for Windows) i can read amigaguide edited from windows

I guess editing in Windows messed up the line breaks. Try an editor like notepad++ and convert the file to Unix-style line endings.

I would say that among the best GUIDE Publishers there is AMIS, Commercial Publisher that allows you to create, edit add data directly on Guide documents and more, although it is not very easy to use.

Heddley can also create and edit Amigaguide documents, but it's a lot of work and I was always too lazy to write a guide for my programs.

Sounds like the first issue is simply linebreaks. There are rules about the formatting of AmigaGuide documents, including things like needing a blank line at the end of the document. The simplest thing to do would be to not edit it on Windows in the first place - any text editor on the Amiga will do just fine, though if you must, at least use one that can save alternative newline characters as suggested.

trying editpad++ and heddley (that is very great software) i found the problem. i simply forget to add "@ENDNODE" at the end of my text file.
