Lightbulb Saving Games

I need help in a big way. I know this sounds really stupid tp you lot out there, but how do i save games on my amiga emulator. I have got tons of games most of which you have to save, such as monkey island. Could someone give me a step by step of how to save.
Many Thanks

Well

If your using Winuae, you can create a blank disk with it, and in game, press F12 to get the menu, goto the floppies tab and ( virtually ) insert your blank floppy and save..
Better still, if your using the latest ver, then use the save state facility on the MISC tab on the same menu ( F12 )

Hmmmm.........

I have already tried that, when in the game you press f12, go onto floppies and press on create a new disc at the bottom of the options. Is the file that it is getting saved into supposed to look just like the game files (you know, the box with a yellow box inside it). If I am doing something wrong tell me. I tried doing this with monkey island but it did'nt want to know.
Hoping you can help

Don't directly type your signature. If you want one, configure it in your UserCP
Have a nice day

Your disk needs to be formatted under AmigaDOS. Some games don't require this but some do. I guess monkey island does require this because it's an AmigaDOS game.

I'm uploading an empty disk to the zone. Try using that.

WinUAE 0.8.17R2 and later creates AmigaDOS formatted floppies, older versions created "blank" floppies. ("Create Standard Floppy"-button)
