My Amiga Music Remixes
I didn't find a section relevant to non-MOD music, so I guess I'll post this here. Hope it's OK.
Turrican 2 - The Wall This is my version of "The Wall" from Turrican 2. The arrangement is faithful to the original. Listen to it on SoundCloud [ Show youtube player ] Download in FLAC format Download in Ogg Vorbis format Download in MP3 format Turrican 1 Title Track I've made a cover version of the title track of Turrican, one of my all-time favorite pieces of computer game music. I had lots of fun making this one; I hope it's just as fun to listen to: Listen to it on SoundCloud [ Show youtube player ] Download in FLAC format Download in Ogg Vorbis format Download in MP3 format Turrican 2 - The Desert Rocks Here's a version of Turrican 2, Level 1 (The Desert Rocks). I've made this prior to the "Turrican 1 Title Track". Had just as much fun making it though. Pretty much every cover/mix of this track seems to take the Atari version as a template. I've followed the Amiga version mainly, but I liked some of the variations from the Atari version and put a few in: Listen to it on SoundCloud [ Show youtube player ] Download in FLAC format Download in Ogg Vorbis format Download in MP3 format Last edited by RealNC; 28 January 2012 at 06:24. Thank you, I'm happy it's not another disco/rave/crap version.

Thanks. I've tried to keep it close to the original.

I've updated the first post, though it seems I cannot edit the thread title; if a mod could update it for me, that would be nice (starting another thread would be spamming I guess). |

Oh, I have a fetish with remakes of old tunes especially Huelsbeck's and Hippel's. The above tunes are perfect.

You can learn so much from Huelsbeck's masterpieces.Timeless
.Huelsbeck the master of Amiga music I'm not really one for remixes though despite how these do a better job than most- so well done there. Not quite as powerful as the originals or indeed CH's own remakes i would say.Nice effort though Do you have any music of your own? Thanks
No, I didn't release anything I composed myself yet. I'm new at this. I got this MIDI keyboard (an Oxygen 49) about over a month ago after I started playing around with LMMS and ZynAddSubFX. These two remakes are pretty much the first stuff I finished. It was loads of fun too. As for Turrican MODs, there's an Amiga music disk: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=12625 |

Turrican 2 - The Wall
This is my version of "The Wall" from Turrican 2. The arrangement is faithful to the original (I didn't even use hats in the drum track because the original doesn't have any.) It has an electro-feel to it. Listen to it on SoundCloud [ Show youtube player ] Download in FLAC format Download in Ogg Vorbis format Download in MP3 format |

Nice, and what I like about them, is they have avoided that horrible 'elevator' music feel, or the horrendous Movie Theme CD's you used to be able to get that copied popular TV and movie themes and just sounded awful.
Nice one. |

Hi RealNC,
I really like what you're doing here! BTW, I've changed the thread title to match your opening post. |
