I don't have mouSTer, but scrolling works flawlessly with the HID2AMI V2.0 adaptor that's currently for sale on Amibay, tested with WB 3.9 / ClassicWB-ADV and the HID2AMI mousewheel driver.

I got myself confirmation from other users, that HID2AMI works flawlessly with this new tank mouse, without any lag besides.

Scroll wheel is fully supported with my dedicated driver, and proved working with all Amiga OS from 1.2 to latest 3.2.2

Should any1 be interested, I am starting a new production batch in a few days, so it could be the right timing to ask me for reserve some.

There is now a new driver which fixes the issues when using the Cocolino driver

Did I read correctly that it has no auto power-off/on or battery-saving mode? For a wireless mouse, that seems a rather unfortunate oversight!

Just a note: the bounty was asking for an "opensource driver" but for now I see no sources in the Aminet archive. Hope this will change.
Ciao,
Giacomo.

Why do you need the sources for something that work?

So that when they enhance the AmigaOS API in the future and it doesn't work you can fix it.

Anyone using the Tank Mouse with its included Adapter (from Lotharek) on a bigger RTG displays like 720p or 1080p on RTG ?
I am doing that and I am noticing a very visibile LAG when moving the mouse from one side of the screen to another... the mouse pointer on the screen is quite far behind my mouse moves.
I connected the Tank Mouse to mouSTer and HID2AMI adapters and that lag is not there anymore.
Anyone else noticed this ?

Exactly. But even because the bounty asked for an opensource driver, so sources should be available, otherwise the bounty shouldn't have been assigned.
Glad that the driver works and solved a problem, but all expectations should be fulfilled, just like the tank mouse did.
Ciao,
Giacomo.

Agreed. If someone accepted the terms of the offer, but only deliver half the terms then should they still be paid 100%?

I ordered a pair of Tank Mice + adapters (black)

Whilst the new driver seemed to work fine to start with, after an hour or so scrolling seem to be all over the place (scrolling randomly on it's own) so much so i've had to stop using the new driver and the original one and not have scrolling at all. :-(

Hopefully this gets fixed in a driver update.

Just got mine. It is a matt black, soft plastic/rubbery surface. I guess I would have prefered a smooth glossy one if offered.
Of course I'm out of AAA batteries right now so the testing will have to wait...
