Looks like a great game. Can't wait.
£7.77? Is there something connected with that number? Seems odd to price it that exact amount.

That was just the exchange rate on the GOG price that paypal gave me when I paid.

First Double Fines games then Wasteland 2 and now this. I wish they'd spread em out a bit as I'm fast running out of cash!

Damn, that's a nice review. I see potential also, the designers of this game obviously know what they're doing. The future of gaming has become less bleak

Wow at the artwork, wow at the 1:06 scene that reminds me about my favorite dungeon crawler of all times - Black Crypt.

Don't forget about the Shadowrun RPG being made as well. There is a Kickstarter page for it as well.

So, like, anyone playing it already for real?

The game's awesome, they took some concepts from Dungeon Master, Black Crypt and the dream sequence from Eye of the Beholder, and it i SO satisfying solving those puzzles!

PS: I'd like to know if it is possible to open those huge copper doors with a cog wheel symbol on them from the 3rd level, located somewhere in the center of the map.

Yes. I am at lev 3 and I like it. It is just a DM or EoB in new look. And if you need help, check the Grimrock forum, it is full of hints and spoilers.

I don't want help, I want to know if it's possible before entering the 4th level.

yep, been playing it and loving it. Challenge too, already got my ass handed to me twice now and I've only just reached level 3 :/ Secrets aplenty, which always keeps me happy.

Controls are a bit icky still, its too easy to "overshoot" and take a step more than you were intending. Inventory management also takes me back to DM But meh, minor annoyance at best.

What party are you playing? I've got an axe warrior, a minotaur fist fighter and two wizards (one fire, one earth). Earth magic seems to focus on poison which is a bit less useful than fire/ice it seems; you meet plenty of skeleton based enemies which are immune to the stuff :/ Have to investigate what air magic can give you, probably light offensive and healing stuff.

I play the default party. I was always annoyed by creating of characters group in old dungeons and so I appreciate that I have now a possibility to avoid that process.

Also bought the game (from GOG). Have to say it is fabulous! The graphics blow me away!

Although there's no resurrection of party members from their bones here and so far I had no luck in crushing enemies with doors (Ah the many cool original ideas of the original Dungeon Master)

Forgot to mention that I managed to solve it, after I backtracked from level 6 to the 1st level and snooped the dungeon for secrets I missed.
