WHDLoad "Pause" request !
Is there a way to include in WHDLoad a "pause" functionality ?
It would be cool to stop any game when you want and continue when you want too The must would be savestates ! but i doubt it would be possible in WHDLoad. What would you think of ? |

i guess Wepl is far better placed to answer this, but i guess it might be able to do it by cheating back to the OS (and holding it on a blank/default screen) before returning to the game....
It could certainly be done on a game-by-game basis, but who would want to?! All i know for sure is that you'd have a similar problem with 68000 machines that you have with quitkeys, where each game would need patching for adding full support. I actually thought about adding a pause to NZS, but i didnt because i figured "well the original doenst have it - it might make it too easy!" |

Technically it could be done, JST had this functionality (iconify/snapshot). But, it is probably a bit more difficult with kickemu.
