How do I create an AROS 68k boot disk?

I am trying AROS Vision now with WinUAE, and I think its amazing what it can do now, but I would like to create a smaller hard disk only with the data necessary to start Workbench (or Workbook, or Wanderer), exactly like it is done with AmigaOS 3.1 boot disks.

This way I can start building a Workbench disk replacement to launch my PD games, and apps, and after that, I can use the AROS prebuilt binaries inside the zip file to enhance my system "more".

So, I need to find which are the procedures needed to make a boot disk and prepare a hardfile with WinUAE and AROS. The files I need to put in the disk and their relation with the original WB 3.1 files. And any other differences between AROS and "Kickstart 3.1" that I need to take into account...

I was a Kick 3.1 guy, and I want to use AROS now, but I dont know anything about AROS. This is the first site I am looking for help, I know there are sites like aros-exec for that, but I prefer EAB. Someone can help? Thanks.

I got it to work! Now it boots without any themes or programs running in the background, exactly like Workbench 3.1. Despite the ugly icons, it seems very authentic, and somewhat faster, even running in Lace 16 colors AGA. But it runs Directory Opus... Is there any other file manager for AROS that can be used to replace Wanderer or Directory Opus, etc?

Under 14 MHz its very slow. I think the graphics are rendered with the CPU in Fast-RAM, I dont see this kind of slowness in OS 3.1, even with FBlit...

you made a floppy disk-image for booting a simple AROS-68k?
if so, can you write a little how-to - and for the lazy ones ( count me in ) - could you upload this image into the zone?
in the past i tested some ISOs and hardfiles with AROS - but a simple floppy for booting into aros is more Amiga-like

filemanager for aros, did you tested maybe diskmaster. AROS is ment to be binary compatible.
so anything should work - taking into account, AROS is not yet finished.
its late now and i hope i dont write nonsense

That is a good idea, I want a disk like that also, but first I need to make some experiments to fit it in a floppy. Directory Opus is too big to fit inside a single floppy, and on the other hand, Scalos uses MUI and the AROS version of that is very big, too. AROS comes with a tiny Workbench-like interface called "Workbook", but it is very limited. The funny thing is that many PD disks that boot into Workbench under AmigaOS, under AROS will bring Workbook in place of Workbench automagically... [Technically] Its a bet [for use in a floppy]. I think DOpus 4.0 can fit, at least I see it included in some coverdisks without compression, and I remember me creating bootdisks with DOpus for my A500 in the past. DiskMaster is very small, and it runs on stock Amiga's. Its a good starting point for testing.
