CDTV ROM Upgrade - how and what?

No the adapter that does the 27C400 will not work, you need another adapter, or swap the two pins round on the 27c1000 using bridging wire( cant remember which two pins but google is your friend) then you could use the TL8266

The CD32 rom is a different beast to the normal Amiga roms, as it is interleaved , so you need to manipulate the bins before burning to eprom, that`s why you do not see many custom CD32 roms, there is some info on how to do a custom rom on eab forums so just do a search.
