Graphics Corrupt in Shadow Of The Beast II

I'm not sure if anyone is a winuae tech head but I'm having some problems.

I went to load up my favorite game, Shadow OF The Beast II and parts of the graphics are corrupt. I noticed it on the title screen when the Beast Logo was Corrupt then the playing area is corrupt as well.

The game seems to play fine and the far backgrounds and sprites are ok so not sure what to do.

I downloaded a fresh version of the game and reinstalled the latest version of winuae but I get exactly the same thing.

I've used Winuae for years and I have the latest version and never had any problem before so does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers!

P.S., some other games that have worked before don't get past the intro stage!

Bad configuration. There are lots of bad configurations that won't work with newer versions (some approximate configuration that only worked accidentally)

Use A500 quickstart configurations.

If you have been using WINUAE for years and haven't changed anything then it could be a PC hardware problem.

I'm not sure how resources intensive the WINUAE emulator is but when things start to go wrong for no apparent reason, always consider the possibility of an overheating graphics card or a failing power supply.

For emulating the A500 Winuae is pretty low cost in CPU, you can always see how much yours is hogging by holding ctrl+shift+ESC.

It's very unlikely that it's your card or psu as it would happen all over the place.

You could try deleting the Winuae registry key, this will default your setting but not custom cfg's.

Delete the below using Regedit, don't touch anything else tho

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Arabuusimiehet
