ClassicWB OS3.9 in emulator

Hi there,

i want to try ClassicWB OS3.9 in fs-uae. Will it install and run as smooth as ClassicWB-UAE or is this for "real Amiga" only?

What to configure, to make it run perfect under emulation?

I have it set up here. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to first install os3.9, then update bb1+2, then use the system.hdf from the CWB pack on top of that, and it'll copy what it needs out of your os3.9/bb1/2 into the system.hdf and you will be good to go. Just change the screenmodes with p96 and after that, smooth sailing...

I'll be honest, though - emulated, I see no advantage to using 3.5/3.9. Using the p96 cwb pack is the best for emulation in my experience.

CWB P96 is good, but got no Amidock

Let me get this right:

I install OS 3.9 +BB1/2 Updates... .hdf or just in Folders ?
Then i configure the "system.hdf" for "booting hdd" and the 3.9 install for 2nd hdd ?

May you be a bit more precise, please?! (I´m not that experienced)

Yeah, that sounds about right. Install os3.9 and bb1+2 into a .hdf file that you make, Windows has a tendency to screw up Amiga file systems...so best to use a .hdf. It's easier said than done but there are some guides floating around out there. I think johnim from Amibay has some, if you search there. Cheers and good luck
