Fate of Atlantis
why the hell does the pointer need to be placed about 1cm above what you want to click on?
i always thought it was just my cracked copy but as it turns out i downloaded a different crack release and it has the same problem. does the original amiga floppys also have this fault? is there a patch? |

I used to have the same problem with Monkey Island 2 if I ran it using AGA on my A1200. Try running it in ECS/OCS.

Set it to NTSC, that'll fix it. The latest WHDload install I tried don't have this problem though, maybe you could try that one too?

That's a (well) known problem with this game and newer amigas. At least in the original version of it. I guess it is fixed in the WHDload version, i haven't try it.

I run all my scumm games in ScummVM. It's an interpreter for scumm games. It have been ported to many platforms,Windows,Linux,Amiga... You can get it from here http://www.scummvm.org/ .

ScummVM rules. I completed Monkey Island, cdrom version using it today. I always thought the amiga version had the best music, but the music on the cdrom version is absolutely stunning.

...maybe then, one can be able to trick ScummVM into thinking it's playing Monkey Island music, yet actually inserting some Apidya/Turrican tracks ... or probably not Quote:

Old thread I know but Grrrrrrr..... I've just updated WinUAE to the latest available (1.2) and now I'm having problems with the "cursor" not aligning properly!! Have tried different screen resolutions (inc NTSC) to no avail. I know it can be easily resolved by using the old WinUAE I was using but I don't really want to do this.
I'm using the Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis HDF version. Can anyone shed any light on this please (again!) or provide a config?? Thanks to anyone who can help!! |

Yes, it's just probably a faulty settings thingy.... if you have AGA on, or 020+ and all that stuff that is useless for a game like this, change them.

Hmmm, I had that exact problem on my real amiga 1200 and the only solution was to set it to NTSC. But since you've already tried that...
