WinUAE 2.0.1 released

WinUAE 2.0.1 released (23.12.2009)

http://www.winuae.net/

Major 2.0 bugs fixed:

- Random interference in some AGA screen modes.
- Blitter onedot line drawing mode was partially broken in non cycle exact modes.

Other changes:

- Screenshot and AVI recording "capture before filtering" options.
- Tar archive support added to "archive" harddrives.
- Custom chipset emulation compatibility updates. NOTE: ECS Denise undocumented feature is now emulated and some demos have blank screen if chipset configuration is set to ECS Denise/Full ECS.
- More compatible directory filesystem character set translation.
- Mouse driver (tablet) mode didn't work without magic mouse.
- Ignore unrar.dll versions that do not support unicode.

(hopefully this one does not have any critical bugs..)

EDIT: Installer version number fixed.

Thanks Toni, WinUae is a life saver now that my A1200 is broken and I have to wait a while to get another one. My old Pentium 3 550 mhz isn't the best machine to run WinUae on, but it's certainly good enough for 68K coding.

Thanks again

Thanks Toni!

An extremely minor point, but the Windows installer says 2.0.0 all the way through it, despite actually installing 2.0.1. Thought I'd downloaded the wrong version until I fired up WinUAE and checked the About tab.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Steve.

Does this mean that earlier WinUAE versions were working "correctly" (i. e. showing the demo) whilst the REAL thing always showed blank screen? And that you now go in line with the real machine and show a blank screen too?
