LZX Files

Hi

I'm having problems with these files. I was told that these files can be unzipped and than re-named to .adf....
I've tried UnLZX but that didn't seem to work. Does anyone know of any other program that can unzip these...
Thanks

Post This is how I decompress lzx files

This is how I decompress lzx files.

1. You will need to use WinUAE.

2. You will need the file lzx which comes with Amiga In A Box software installed from http://aiab.emuunlim.com/

3. After aiab setup. All you then need to do is copy the filename.lzx file to the programs dir in C:\Program Files\WinUAE\Harddrives

4. Launch workbench and double click on programs partition and on filename.lzx.

5. Then extract and select dir to decompress to.

If you do not want to use Amiga In A Box software you will need to download the attached file - see readme file in ‘lzx files.zip’.

Once installed open CLI or SHELL and type

lzx x programs:filename.lzx programs:files/

N.B. programs is the name of amiga HD partition
filename.lzx is the name of compressed file
files/ is a sub-dir

Hope this is helpful
