i hope she isn't too angry with me

She had to go, has been living in my attic wayy too long, she has now been relocated to a pastures new where hopefully she can't find her way back and get revenge. Raccoons are pretty vicious if threatened.

They mess up the insulation and of course poo, at least they have a commom area.
All said and done there were 6 babies, All were passed on to wildlife centre.

Here is a vid of 1 extraction, i had to make a shelf with some food/water on it to try to persuade them to drop down onto it so we could grab them. Unfortunately the shape of my roof meant we couldnt go in from the top. I used a reolink camera with motion sensor so we didnt have to constantly be there, we could monitor from PC/android, the camera was pretty good quality for IR night time

and the last one i caught at 0430 this morning. (At least i think she was the last one lol)

The old Minix mascot.

We have possums imported here in New Zealand (From Australia). We run them over. I think there are over 40 million possums and they kill all the native wild life. I need to go hunting them again for the fur. If we could we would ship all the possums back to Australia, but they now have TB. Not their fault tho..

There's e few populations of racoon in Germany, after being imported by various aristocrats for their hunting forests. Obviously they escaped and are now in the wild. Our neighbours claim to have seen them in the neighbourhood.
