MODs for use in small tech demos
Hi all,
When playing around with effects I find myself missing music, in part because it makes it nicer when showing others and partly because it makes it possible to tweak the effect realistically (of course I can make reasonable estimates, but nothing beats actually having the music running to steal cycles). Now I could use some of the many MODs available online or those I have from back in the day, but in that case me redistribution them would range from clearly illegal to iffy. I'd like some MODs I can use in good faith. So if you have some MODs lying around I may use for this purpose, please share! Beggars can't be choosers, but I'm especially interested in small/coder-friendly* modules, because I'm looking to use them in constrained environments. But really, anything is of interest! I, of course, promise to give proper attribution (please specify how you'd like to be credited, and whether you'd like e.g. to always have some string present uncompressed or w/e) and only use it for non-commercial software targeting the Amiga. Some examples of where I might have used music (like the title says - small, silly tech demos): http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...6&postcount=92 http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=86108 http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...5&postcount=44 *) E.g. having both CIA and non-CIA timed modules would be great for testing. I'm currently planning on using ThePlayer for replay, but I'm open to suggestions. |

EDIT: Obviously I haven't listen closely to each mod yet, but I'm very impressed by what you managed to get done with 18966 bytes in mod.money. Great job! Last edited by paraj; 29 March 2017 at 21:33. |
