I guess this is not going to help but GLOW does run faster on my Blizzard IV 030 without using whd-load. It is nothing as bad as you show in the video, but still.

Pistorm32 for A1200 is by far best accelerator solution I ever seen for Amiga.
The main reason for it is that you can run stock mode. 100% compatible.
Not to mention how much faster it is than anything ever seen on the Amiga.

Today I bought it!! For the price it is a no brainer.

He say that an A1200 with PiStorm can work also in A1200 standard mode disabling the PiStorm (like Blizzards for what I understand).
So those problematic games work.

I've not seen that capability of PiStorm32 discussed anywhere.

Normal PiStorm(16) definitely doesn't have this capability (for A600 or A500 side car).

Just hold CTRL, Amiga, Amiga for 3 sec. and Pistorm32 is disabled.


Maybe not so easy to do when you take out the A500 cpu to fit Pistorm

I know there is this solution to use Pistorm on A500 expansion but then you get this thing on the side and I think you have to take it out to use the original 68k but that should be quite easy.

On A1200 you use the expansion slot and the sweet 020 is still inside

Good to know. The original PiStorm could do with this feature for A600.

You shouldn't have to. Other A500 side-car accelerators (GVP-A530) can be disabled without removing them. But yes as you say I guess it is easy to remove.

On the Pistorm32 Lite if you press Ctrl+Amiga+Amiga for about 3 seconds this will put Emu68 in stealth mode, basically stock A1200 config.

You are correct about the original Pistorm, I don't think it can boot in a stock configuration.

Correct. There is no Musashi for Pistorm32 at the moment.
