Joystick/Keyboard mapping [Solved]

I've been pulling my hair out over this one. No matter which joystick/gamepad/kb config I use, When I play Rick Dangerous, he fires a bullet and jumps at the same time. The game is barely playable this way. Anyone else have this issue? I'm using FS-UAE 2.6.1. Thanks!

[EDIT] I'm using Kickstart 1.3 and have tried a few different ADF (floppy) releases of the game, all with the same result. When I hold the fire button and press up, Rick jumps as he fires a bullet. While holding fire and pressing up, he SHOULD only fire the bullet, not jump at the same time.

Hi, never heard of the problem. Please make sure to try with the simplest config possible (default A500 model and game floppy, and a gamepad), and post the resulting fs-uae.log.txt.

I have a log file called fs-uae.log. I looked in it and it seems to have autofire set to 1. I never turned autofire on, so it must be on by default. This may indeed be the issue. How would I disable autofire? Thanks for the assistance and quick reply!<br />

[EDIT] OK, I found the autofire option by hitting F12 and going into my joystick settings. I'm certain that I never turned it on, but there it was, set to ON :/ Thanks again for the tip to check the log.

There are auto-fire toggle buttons in FS-UAE next to the port device selection boxes (a lightning icon)

Really? All I can do is turn the lightning bolts on or off. No autofire options I can see in 2.6.1 in the launcher.

I meant that the lighting bolt button *are* the autofire toggle buttons!

lol! I thought the lightning bolt was to specify that the device was in use. No wonder! I've turned them off. Thanks!
