Prometheus vs Mediator?

What are the advantages or disadvantages of the Prometheus card as compared to the Mediator?

And while we're at it [now looking at amigakit.com]: There seem to be quite a number of different Mediator models, and I'm unclear as to what the advantages/disadvantages are to each one. Are they all equal in features save less or more slots?

And I guess I have one answer to my earlier question; the Mediator comes with Zorro slots as well, while the the Prometheus is PCI only?

Prometheus only have drivers for Voodoo and LAN cards.

Mediator have support for audio cards (Soundblaster & others), two different LAN cards (Realtek 8029 & 8139 chipsets), TV capture cards, SCSI controller & both Voodoo 3/4/5 and Radeon 92xx cards.

Mediators also have (now) the ability to add part of the graphics card memory to use as FAST RAM.

The Mediator 4000Di is for use with the original desktop case, the other version is for towered A4000 (custom towers, of course).

I see. And I take it that the Mediator pci.library is not at all compatible with the Prometheus then?

Of course they are not.

Prometheus uses it's own way to activate the PCI busboard. OpenPCI.library, IIRC.

The Mediator systems uses mediator.library.
