XAD/XFD come with cli utillities that use these libraries so that shouldn't be a problem.
Have a look at DiskMaster and ABCDir bot have low memory requirements. And the first one is highly customizable. Quote:
Apart from KingCON have a look at zshell. I've used fat95 wih messydisk.device on systems as low end as an A500 with 512kb and no issues. Maybe there's something wrong with the mountlist file. Here's mine: Code:
FileSystem = l:fat95 Device = devs:messydisk.device Unit = 0 Flags = 0 LowCyl = 0 HighCyl = 79 Surfaces = 2 BlocksPerTrack = 9 Reserved = 0 Buffers = 20 BufMemType = 1 BootPri = 0 Stacksize = 4096 Priority = 5 GlobVec = -1 DosType = 0x46415400 Mount = 1 |

@ppill
Thank you, I will start testing your suggestions. BTW, amberram is not able to make drawers from workbench 3.1 due to a design limitation (it is mentioned in its docs). However, that issue is not present on 3.5/3.9. |

@DonAmiga
You can recall our software by opening a Shell and typing: OS-Install Then press Enter key You should then see the OS-Install screen appear If you want to re-install to specific partition ( for e.g. SYSTEM: ), you can use the command for example: OS-Install System: Then press Enter key Last edited by amigakit.com; 12 February 2011 at 02:33. |

Small bugfix update of BetterWB (ver1.01):
I managed to screw up Amiga file protection bits. If you are using version 1.0 just open a CLI window and execute the following command: protect SYS:#? +rwe ALL That should fix it all. Anyway, the floppy sets have been bugfixed accordingly so that if you are installing BetterWB for the first time, you get it all okay now. I am sorry for any inconviniences. |

I think DM2 might be just the filemanager You are looking for. Give it a try.

I will contact the author to get his permission for distribution (I already know him, and he has been a generous guy in the past). |

You could perhaps save the original startup-sequence before it's being modified? So that you have a backup of it in case something goes wrong?
