Unhappy Super Cauldron - Guru meditation

My crack of Super Cauldron gives a Guru-meditation once a level is loaded. I tried several settings in WinUAE (Kickstart 1.3, 1.2, OCS, ECS, Match A500 speed) but with no success. Does anyone have a working config for it? Thanks.

B.T.W. The crack I have comes on two disks with on disk one a preview of Crazy cars 3.

Guru meditation

Since I'm the only one who is experiencing the problems with this game, here is the Guru meditation I get when level 1 is loaded. Does anyone know what it means?

No mate

You are not the only one with this problem I also have the same error on this game (Despite what Config I Use)

Maybe it's the ADF's as I am using the same set as you. I am going to download a different version if I can find one, if it works I shall let you know

Basically it's a CPU error (1st part = illegal opcode 1111, 2nd part = address at which the error has occurred). I'm no guru (sorry, bad pun!). Toni might be able to shed some light as to whether the problem is due to a shitty crack or emulation.

i give you what it meens

the Guru code is build in 4 parts
first 2 = Subsystem ID = 00 = CPU Trap <no error
next 2 = General error = 00 = <no error
next 4 = Specific error = 000B = B meens CPU error <Full code is 0000000B = op code 1111 <what ever that meens
The last 8 = Address of task.

So whit i get from it is, that some cpu settings are not right.

CPU most likely tried to execute random data instead of code..
Possible reasons are corrupted image, wrong config or emulation problem.

Thanks for your explanations of the Guru meditation.

I have this very crack of Super Cauldron also on my original Amiga. I remember the game had some corrupted sprites on level 2 and it even crashed once in a while when I played it for some time.
I have uploaded the crack in The Zone so you can experience the Guru meditations yourself.

AHA problem Solved

I think it was a Dodgey ADF as I have just re-downloaded this game using ECS 13 and HEY it works

So I have Uploaded this version to The Zone along with the configuration file.

Hope all this helps and happy playing

Thumbs up Thanks

@CPC464
Thanks for uploading the game. Being a lazy gamesplayer I always welcome a trained version.
