Cannon Fodder (1993)(Virgin)[cr FLT](Disk 1 of 3) ... no prob. with this one!

(used config: A500 1.3 ECS 512 + 512)
That would be:
Cannon Fodder (1993)(Virgin)(Disk 2 of 3)[cr CSL][b].adf

Yea, that one! ([b] means bad copy I guess)

Someone should test this on a real machine because it does not work also on WinUAE!

@Seiya
fixed ZIP loading from commandline / frontendloader

What do you mean?
Use openGL (Options->Video) to access all display options (Amiga->Presentation)

Denise can simulate PAL Encoding using an S-Video cable. In this case, the chroma of adjacent rows is mixed.

this is fixed, but there is a more important thing to do.
when you click che file zip:

afterburner.zip
--->afterburner_1.adf
--->afterburner_2.adf

you click on first disk to load the game, but when you need to insert second disk, this one Denis don't detect it.

Gamebase uncompress zip file in a directory (that you choose) that default is: GBGame/0

so you can access all disk inside zip file in any moment.

As i use Denise from Gamebase and it is selected this path (GBGAME/0), it should be uncompress the zip file automaticaly there, but there is nothing there.

In Winuae I got it working using df1, on denise I got it to the next level by changing disks back and forth.

Has anyone tried D.O.S ANDROMEDA Demo?

My Monitor is a 4K 60Hz and it as unofficial support for G-Sync through DisplayPort, but truth be told there's something that seems to be missing, and I don't know if it is the monitor, since even the video from YT doesn't feel smooth to me, there's some jitter here and there

google for g-sync pendulum demo
Here you can test it. In the OSD of the monitor, the FPS must not stand still.

if the settings/conditions outside of emulator are not correct, none of these settings will work.
ignore the first option. if vsync and VRR enabled together, vsync will be ignored since Denise v2.0 (means option 1 is the same like option 2) I need to rework the UI for this case.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce...onitors/specs/
see if you can find your monitor on the site and see if the conditions are met.

now i will try gamebase.

I checked on this version: http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=397

No problem on A500 ECS 1.3 512 +512 configuration using only DF0: drive!
(except some glitches on vector objects as reported for some other demos)

Between 50-60Hz it's smooth, if I go down to 40hz it starts tethering

OK
I was asking this because I saw a video where he advocates for the usage of both:

The use of VSync with G-Sync does not increase input lag, and a frame limiter is recommended to avoid frametime variances.

i don't know if you know how it works gamebase so:

i create a gamebase for Denise to test (denise here have only aros kickstart) and it is already configured. you have only to copy games in "games drawer". There is also Gamebase Fronted setup inside zip.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dbu...usp=share_link

After installation you will have the programm in, example:

c:\gamebase\

you must copy "Denise-test" drawer inside "c:\gamebase" to have

c:\gamebase\
---->Denise-test\

On your desktop you must click on GBToolBox to assign Denise-Test to Gamebase

then you can run Gamebase icon and you have a windows that show your Gamebase

double click on Denise-Test icon and you are the Front-end ready to add games or demo.

It should be already configured in GEMUS (denise emulator) and you insert game from front-end menu or pressing SHIFT+INS

In alternative you can download and install Amiga Demo V3

If the blurbuster says that a "Vsync" activated in parallel to g-sync does not cause the typical Vsync LAG, I take the possibility to run both in parallel again. (provided in next nightly)

However, it should not be necessary to enable Vsync with VRR. Perhaps there are systems where it is necessary. I can't say for sure without having tested all these systems.
The "VRR" option in Denise is basically the necessary frame limiter as Rivatuner provides.
Can I also use Rivatuner? No, because the rate is dynamic. The C64 used for PAL 50.125, the Amiga 49.92 or 50.08 or 50 in the case of lace or any other rate (forced by the software, B.C. Kid 56.408)
Now you don't want to constantly take over the current rate from the emulator in the Rivatuner. That would be inconvenient.

--------------

Tried Gamebase in a sandbox but I'm having trouble.

The frontendloader calls the emulator with parameters and I can also test this in the command line and therefore do not need the frontendloader.
It's about making several ADF's of a game available via one or two emulated drives.
What is currently already possible is to start the App with several AFD's. e.g. Denise.exe disk1.adf disk2.adf
Only then 2 drives are emulated. A game with many floppy disks cannot be loaded in this way, because not all games support multiple drives or there are simply too much followup disks.

Denise already uses a disk swapper and i could design the command line like this:
Denise.exe disk_swapper_1 disk1.adf disk_swapper_2 disk2. ADF ... etc.

In the emulator, a disc from the swapper can then be inserted via hotkeys.
With another hotkey it is possible to select the drive in which the swapper inserts. (in case of 2 or more drives are in use)

Now the question, can you design the command line in gamebase or is a precise specification of the parameter names necessary?
options:
Denise.exe disk_swapper_1 d1.adf disk_swapper_2 d2.adf disk_swapper_3 d3.adf

or

Denise.exe disk_swapper game.zip (swapper will be populated with all ADF's in ZIP )

i tried to create a script for denise, but it is very complicated.
however now i found a partial solution: the first disk mounted automatically and second disk i mount manually.

------
looking Amiga_settings in Denise i tried to creat a script for Gamebase, but i'm not so expert script creator in gamebae.
i save a config after mounting After Burner and here i saw that:

Code:
save_ident:After Burner v1.00_
save_slot:0

DF0_path:J:/Emul/Gamebase/C64 VS Amiga/Amiga/a/After Burner v1.00_1.zip
DF0_file:After Burner v1.00_1.adf
DF1_path:J:/Emul/Gamebase/C64 VS Amiga/Amiga/a/After Burner v1.00_2.zip
DF1_file:After Burner v1.00_2.adf
with this news information i could try to mount more disk in 1 click, but i don't uderstand that "save_slot and save_ident". I can have more save_slot and more save_ident?

i fear that also launchbox is not so easy to configure for various format especially for Amiga (adf, cd, whd, hardisk). However one day i will try if possibile to export file without working from scratch.

The floppy disks would then be inserted into the drives. But that won't work if games don't support as many drives as the game floppy disks.
The followup discs must be inserted into the swapper and this would have to be differentiated in the command line with a parameter.
Thus, the Emu knows whether the discs are inserted directly or stored in the swapper so that they can be inserted later.

Quote:
i tried to create a script for denise, but it is very complicated.
however now i found a partial solution: the first disk mounted automatically and second disk i mount manually.
Denise.exe Disk1.adf -config-amiga settings.ini
This will start Disk 1 and load its own settings file. In the settings file, the swapper can be filled with the following parameters.

swapper_1_path: D:/amiga/disks/Amoon.zip
swapper_1_file: AmbermoonA.adf
swapper_1_id: 0
swapper_2_path: D:/amiga/disks/Amoon.zip
swapper_2_file: AmbermoonB.adf
swapper_2_id: 1
...

Here the disks are inserted into the drives
DF0_path:
DF0_file:
...

Is that enough or is it more practical if I create command line parameters for the swapper ?
So the general question is whether command line parameters or script ?

By the way, if the discs are well named, followup discs can also be guessed. To do this, the swapper is simply left empty. The Emu
now tries to find the followup disk e.g. via the hotkey of swapper position 2 and based on the currently inserted disk.
For this, one letter after the other is removed until the followup floppy disks are found.

i found that also with Denise the games file insidse Zip are put in GBGame/0, but they are unprotected. Now i check again some option about this things. maybe the solution is very close without using script or command line functions.

the facto i tried several script, but Denise ignore them. It use own config file and ignore everything in external command line option
