database error

since today i have the problem, that this database error page appears.
i have to refresh to see the forum again. happened several times today.
did something change today?

i already cleared cache and restarted browser several times...

I'm getting this too, need to refresh every second page load at the moment.

HOL is also affected with some probs, I am getting "Query failed" errors in Search.

I get it myself sometimes, or a message that "the site is too busy at the moment, try again later".
It's either the bandwidth or the server that's getting swamped and bogged down I think.

Old dying server, is more likely the cause and RCK is already aware and working on it.

We've had problems for quite a while now and slowly but surely it's getting worse.

Hopefully we'll all be on a new server soon

Will need a new one after the Meltdown patches are applied on the old, they're not too kind on servers looking through the benchmarks!

The Meltdown patches are awfull, especially in virtualized env, which will not be the case for abime.net
