Some keys stopped working while A1200 in use

I was playing Premier Manager last night using the keypad to enter numbers when bidding etc. I've been playing it for days now with no problem but last night all of a sudden the numeric keypad stopped working. I carried on playing using the num keys above the letters then after about an hour the numpad started working again for a few minutes before giving out again.

I've switched it back on just now and the num pad is working again (who knows for how long though), is this a membrane problem? The A1200 was recapped about 6 weeks ago by TC so I doubt that is the problem. If it cuts out again I will try an A4000 keyboard on it with a PC Key 1200 I think it's called but has anyone got any other suggestions as to why they keys are coming and going?

Does it occur outside of Premier Manager?

You tried simply to pull out and put back keyboard ribbon? Once I lost whole middle row and that helped.

Yes I couldn't type in the Shell either. On a side note at the time the () and / keys were still working. I did try reseating the ribbon cable and was still doing the same. Yet today I've been playing for a good few hours and it's been working perfectly fine all night.

Sounds like a contact issue then, or your ribbon is somehow damaged, but only so slightly.
