Can a HAM6 video be made on Linux? The program does not seem to run from wine.

Also is there a program to do this that uses the AGA chipset?

Sorry for noob questions

Cheers

Thx for the link.
I would like to ask him about the (annoying) dithering effect that is automatically enabled in the AVI4HV version we have, but that seems disabled on the version he used to make his example video "Shiki".

I think the program is written using the FreeBasic compiler. This also has a Linux version available if I'm not mistaken, so it should be possible to compile it for Linux.

The converter should be very easy to adapt to HAM8, and the player shouldn't be too hard to adapt, either.

@Boo Boo
I don't use the ST Emulator on the minimig (I think it require a 68020 min).
I use the same "disk image" on my (minimig/A600/A1260)

BTW the Speccy Emu runs better nowdays @ 52.5Mhz (on the minimig) but the sound is still a bit weird.

Indeed, but I didn't say I'm going to do it, just that it should be easy I've said I'd do things in the past, and then I didn't do them, and I'm not doing that again.

Also, palette slicing+HAM6 will look much better, and is certainly possible on stock machines. Shouldn't really be difficult, either.

You mean the 'avi4hv.zip' in 'App/Archive' on the file server?
