Well, I just realized that this Amiga event will be on my 30th birthday. So I obviously had to get a ticket for me and my girlfriend. The last two early-bird tickets. I noticed that there were no other tickets available. Has the sale of regular tickets not opened yet? Or are they all taken for some strange reason?

I did add myself to the waiting list. I sent the message, asking how soon confirmation will come, because I must buy an airplane ticket before its price rises any higher.

Still waiting,

Will there be any live streaming of this event, for people who can't attend to watch, or listen to, if video streaming is not available?

I can't imagine the event selling out, how many tickets were available? How many people are expected to show up for this event?

I am helping out with the 30th Anniversary event in California at the end of July, but it appears that the EU event will far and away surpass the number of people attending, which is no surprise, since there are many more active Amiga users on your side of the Atlantic, than there are in the USA, Canada, & Mexico. Still, I think our smaller event is going to be an amazing show with lots of original Amiga engineers and designers, as well as some other well known Amiga developers and artists from the past and present.

I can't wait to see how the Amiga is celebrated every where this year!

AMIGA 30 LIVE ON CAMERA!

Amsterdam, June 23rd 2015 – Good news for every Amiga fan who would have liked to be present at this weekend’s Amiga 30 Anniversary event in Amsterdam – but can’t make it.

CYMTV will stream the entire event live over the internet – all you need is the (free) Android App and you will be able to witness the entire event, including interviews with all the big Amiga names that are present in Amsterdam on the 27th of June.

The App is called “StreamUnlimited” and can be downloaded for free in Google’s Play Store or directly from http://www.cymtv.com. Versions for other operating systems than Android are not available.

CYMTV is using their revolutionary “Active Cloud Streaming” technology, which saves up to 90% on bandwidth costs when streaming live video over the internet. The technology can be used to broadcast TV channels over the internet, but can also be used to broadcast live events, such as concerts, sports events or this Saturday’s Amiga 30 anniversary event!
For more information, please contact info@cymtv.com or visit http://www.cymtv.com.

I dont have android, so am hoping for a PC stream, as I paid money for it I should be able to view the stream. I'm hoping they sort this out.

Also hoping for a stream or an extensive "after-show" coverage on some websites.

Thanks for organising such a big event, unfortunately can't be there in person.

This is a living part of Amiga history.

Filmed at the June 27 Amiga 30th anniversary celebration in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, here are my videos of the CBM engineers and others who were/are involved in the development of Amiga computers. They also talk about Commodore Business Machines back in the day, how CBM self-destructed, and more.
