Exclamation the citadel source code

hi,

digging in our forums for spam a found a message which deserves to be
forwarded.

one of the main coders of "the citadel" offers the source code.
if he has not already done the same here, here his posting:

From what I can make out he made that offer in January 2006.
So hopefully its allready out there, some where.

@DrF

not necessarily, our forums are not much used, they need a rework to be
more usable and easier to navigate. i also offered source of a cross assembler
in there and never heard a word...
however, the forums are only on rank 736 in my monster todo list ;-)

What a bummer
I Googled for it and only found 1 Windows remake of the game
Maybe its worth a shot mailing this Kane guy for it then.

I think you should draw your attention to this - http://cytadela.sourceforge.net/index.html

It is the conversion of original Citadel which has been rewritten in C++ and uses OpenGL and SDL. You can find binaries for Linux and Windows there. In February 2007 the author asked for help on AmigaWorld.net forum because he wanted to have an AmigaOS port.

Thats the remake I was talking about, can't find anything else yet.

There was a demo of this game on a magazine and on the same disc it had demo of Fears, I remember being offended by the caption on the A500 part of the label "something for A500 users to rave about" or something close.
