for example if you want it from 2giga
these parameters

63
16253
512

A small guide to the configuration of winUAE using G-Rex,
this is a base for starting the emulator correctly, other options and details in the guide in .pdf, or in the videos of the tutorials
This is just a base.
It works with winUAE 3.6.1 final or with the latest version of winUAE 4.
Here also a 4gb .hdf file is created with the "Amiga" and "Work" partitions
I hope it is useful.
here the video:

After so many years, I no longer have the experience to create an installation script,
My idea was to enclose in a single script, the following programs for winUAE with the following packages:

QT minimal
SMTube
MickjT-MPlayer
YT.rexx
Odyssey
NetSurf
libxml2.lha <--- libxml2.so.11 for SMTube
RuninUAE
and maybe even something else.

I looked at this link:
http://wiki.amigaos.net/wiki/Installation_Utility

are the examples right?
can I work on this?
or are there any programs to do this on OS4.1FE?

I remember many years ago that programs existed on AmigaOS 3.1 to do this.

Thanks for any response, and any suggestions.
Can someone help me?

Thank you.

Hi,
Continue the test with whdload
this is version 1.0 of E-UAE X1000 with the JIT activated.
The work and configuration I have in mind takes time for me.
I have to create new partitions to see what E-UAE can do on real partitions.

The file does not contain audio for long upload times on youtube.

Later I try to make a complete video and upload it during the night.
This is just a small example
Every suggestion is always appreciated.
I hope it is useful.

Hi,
these days I'm doing some things that will keep me busy,
If someone is interested in an installation script for the AmigaOS 4.1 FE1
here is a program to make an additional installation of entire packages
to find AmigaOS 4.1 FE1 with all the programs already installed.
So if anyone wants to help me to create an installation script to have the system with all the programs ready to use and maybe even something more would be nice.
It will take some time to make it better.
Thanks for any help.
here the link of the program:
http://www.robthenerd.com/installergen
Many thanks to Raziel for his advice and suggestions.

Hi, small update if it can be useful to use odyssey,
to change user-agent:

This can be used to access some sites that require a modern browser and access more advanced features.

Change the user-startup in this way:
SETENV OWB_USER_AGENT "Mozilla / 5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv: 58.0) Gecko / 20100101 Firefox / 58.0 IceDragon / 58.0.1"

Thanks for the suggestions obtained.
At the moment videos on youtube seem faster with these settings apart from the audio that is still jerky.

I was looking for something that makes the browser lighter, at the moment this seems like the best choice for winUAE.

Thanks for every suggestion and help.

Hi,
My small tests with E-UAE continue, this time with the SDL version
Everything seems to work well including the JIT
Games are fine.
The only game that does not seem to work well and The Killing Ground 3D II
As soon as I have finished doing other things, I will put a small guide for its configuration.
For those interested in this emulation of 4.1.1 it is enough that it works and is fun. :-)
Every suggestion to improve this emulation is always appreciated.

Here a little video with the SDL version:

Test in real time of amigaos FE 4.1.1
With video recording software, it starts working well, I'm happy,
I hope it can be interesting.
As soon as I carry out the video editing the tutorials will be very clear and precise.
The compression is excellent a 30 minute video with only 150mb with an excellent resolution.
I hope it is useful and stimulating, I would like to see what a faster processor like an I7 does with the odyssey browser on youtube.
I only have an I5 2400, it starts to work as I like it.
Does anyone use an I7 with amigaos fe 4.1.1?
Thanks any suggestions and always appreciated.

Hi,
here is the tutorial to install E-UAE
Using winuae the installation package crashes
This does not happen with a real amiga.
so I created a package that does not require installation and is very easy to install.
Time to clean up the package from kick roms etc.
The configuration is ready to be used just follow the steps.
Tomorrow I will leave the link to download the package.

For questions and suggestions just ask
every suggestion is appreciated.

Hi
My tests continue in order to complete this emulation of AmigaOS 4.1
The meaning of all this is to have a 4.1 OS that works as with AmigaOS 3.xx
In the end I would like to switch on and have my 4.1 emulated even if with its limits, currently lacks a browser that works well otherwise I'm really happy :-)
But this lack exists with the 3.xx to tell the truth.

In the end I would like to make a complete guide that makes the use of 4.1 with Winuae really funny. I still thank Toni for the job that makes all this possible.

here the snes "many famous Rom for snes can be translated into Italian on this site
"the patches apply to the original rom"
a tribute to this team that has always done a great job in these years"
https://www.sadnescity.it/traduzioni.php
here Snes
[ Show youtube player ]
here quake
[ Show youtube player ]
here duke nukem 3d
[ Show youtube player ]
here doom
[ Show youtube player ]
here quake2
[ Show youtube player ]

what I put is because it works really well, what does not work I do not, I apologize because I posted doom and quake in the winuae section
I apologize for this, but I think it's right to put them here.
Every suggestion is always appreciated to improve this emulation.

Hi,
Scumm VM works very well, ok this too can be added to a future guide, this will require a lot of work if written well
here a little video of Broken Sword 1 & 2
[ Show youtube player ]
as I said it would be important to create a package that automates a complete pack of all the applications that work with 4.1
Hey, someone wants to help me do this!
thank you :-)

Hi
another convenient program to use is MPlayerGUI new version
is very well associated with MickJT-MPlayer,
Now you can conveniently use it with the GUI with playlists etc.
In December I will try to make a complete guide on how to best configure AmigaOs 4.1 with all the working programs and configurations to do.
The list has expanded and so just look at the various steps in the previous videos.
I would like to know if anyone is interested in all this.
Even if only one person is interested, this makes me want to do something really complete.
Thanks to the people who work on these programs.
I hope it is useful, in my little.

Hi,
I had never tried to download videos with SMTube I had always used only streaming and it works really well.
To complete the use of SMTube you can download the videos and then see them later with AmigaOS 4.1 update1
here the script to be used in SMTube.ini

These parameters work with winuae

If "SMTube is in Work:"
<MPLAYER>Work:MickjT-MPlayer/mplayer-nonaltivec -vo sdl -ao sdl
<MPLAYER_OPTIONS>
<CONSOLE>0/400/640/400
<FFPLAY>APPDIR:ffplay
<FFPLAY_OPTIONS>-infbuf
<FFMPEG>APPDIR:ffmpeg
<FFMPEG_OPTIONS>-b:a 128k
<FFMPEG_OUTPUT_TYPE>MP3
<DOWNLOADER>Work:SMTube/Amiga/Download/Download
<DOWNLOADER_OPTIONS>DEST
<DOWNLOADER_DEFAULT_EXTENSION>MP4
<DOWNLOADER_DEFAULT_PATH>Work:SMTube/Amiga/Videos
<DEBUG>OFF
<WAIT>OFF
<SECONDS>3

here a little video

But I always ask questions and I try to learn,
I hope it is not OT.
Honestly, I was happy and I wanted to put it
but there is a lot of work to do
Thank you and sorry

Hi,
winuae currently gives me great satisfaction for the results obtained with amigaos 4.1 even if not specifically created to support 4.1
For those interested it is possible to use qemu to emulate a sam460ex with 2gb of memory with the amigaos 4.1 system

the program is under development

Can we have 512 to 2 GB of RAM emulated in WinUAE for AmigaOS 4.x in WinUAE?

128 MB you cannot do much! But would be super cool to have anywhere between 512 to 2 GB of RAM for WinUAE in AmigaOS 4.x Just wondering!

@xboxown
winuae works very well with amigaos 4.1 classic final update 1
You can enable 768mb of ram + uagfx with the mediator configuration
Or 1gb of ram + uaegfx with the g-rex configuration

here you can find a very detailed guide written by @Saghalie
https://tinyurl.com/ydgdehjr
on how to enable memory and other things.
in summary after updating to update 1
this is the command to insert in the startup-sequence

C: BootLoader COMMANDLINE = "Grex NoRamPager NoDiskPager" <--- for g-rex
or by mediator
C: BootLoader COMMANDLINE = "NoRamPager NoDiskPager" <--- for mediator

here some screenshots to help you

In this thread you find everything you can do with 4.1
I have done a lot of experiments to get these results as well as asking many questions in the forums.
The guides are very simple

here you will find some practical examples
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZo...-MkSDPw/videos

Please note that I use a simple I5 2400
I hope it is useful for you

Hi,
I add this video made a long time ago
for those who want to use an x86-x64 computer only for amigaos with winuae booting can be done with 4.1 3.9 systems etc.
with a base a windows 7 system
Maybe something even more complete can be born, in this case a true HD partition is used.

[ Show youtube player ]

currently it's the only way to make e-uae work with amigaos 4.1 (which by the way works very well)
if i try to use a .hdf it is with e-uae winuae it crashes.
While with a real partition this does not happen it works perfectly.
