Wanted: SCSI hard drive (50-pin)
Preferrably 1GB or more, must be a standard 3.5" drive (50-pin, not 68-pin or 80-pin). And you must be able to ship to Norway.

I have several here but the postage would be nasty from Australia to Norway methinks.

Have you not checked around your local computer recyclers or old technicians who may still carry this stuff? |

$37 AUD is quite a bit indeed, so I'll have to skip that. |

I'll bump this. Still in VERY need of a 50-pin SCSI hard drive! Those on eBay are expensive when it comes to shipping and the prices for the HDDs themselves.
Loedown: Is there any possibility you can pack two hard drives for the same shipping price? If not, then I am interested in the largest 50-pin SCSI drive you have. Largest as in its storage capacity, of course. EDIT: I assume you give them away, or do you want some money for them? Last edited by 8bitbubsy; 18 May 2011 at 01:42. |

Does it absolutely have to be 50pin? I've got a 68pin drive and a really small cable converter that i had working in a gvp hd+.
Any good to you? What's it going in if you dont mind me asking? |

It's going in my Amiga 2000 which is my main Amiga, without a HDD! All I can do on it now is boot Workbench from floppies. I'd buy your drive and converter with no hesitating, do you want to sell them? I'll make good use of it for sure. Send me a PM if you want to sell them, and if you can ship to Norway. I'm heading to bed so I'll check tomorrow. =) |

All the details for the drive are in this thread http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=25271.
The cable I have was too long to fit inside the sidecar with the lid on. But in a big box you should be fine. The adapter plugs into the controller board and the 68pin cable goes on top. So you need a bit of extra space around the board (1 - 2cm ?) to accomodate it. If you think it will work for you than you can have the drive, adapter, and cable for the cost of postage. PM me your address and I'll get it sent. |
