Mmm... i would like to see an E-UAE vs UAE4All2 comparison.
Is E-UAE based in the latests WinUAE versions like UAE4All2? I would like also to be able to save ALL settings in the emulator (like the inserted floppies). Does E-UAE allow this? See ya! |

E-Uae is based on E-Uae sources (or old WinUAE sources)
Uae4all2 is based on old UAE sources. Main difference - is cpu emulation core: Uae4all2 used Famec CPU core E-Uae used UAE CPU core (similar as WinUAE,P-UAE,FS-UAE) The main advantage of uae4all2 - is big performance. Currently uae4all2 is 10x times faster than e-uae. The main advantage of e-uae is better amiga compatibility, fpu-emulation, z3fastram support (more than 8mb fast ram), gfxcard memory support for picasso96, and bsdsocket support for internet access, scsi. Disadvantage is low performance. And i can confirm, e-uae can store any inserted floppies in configuration. |

Waw, thanks so much for the clarifications :O.
It would be great to see an emulator with the quality of FS-UAE in Android. I really like UAE4All2 speed, outside the lack of compatibility, but... would be great to be able to save the configuration (RAM, floppies, etc ...), like you do in WinUAE. I think i'll try E-UAE anyway ![]() See ya! P.D: I have done a bit of testing, and have noticed a two things: - The emulator seems to run too fast in my device (Rikomagic MK902II). I think is... like when you run a PAL game in NTSC mode and it gets accelerated. But i have the NTSC checkbox un ticked :S. - In the Chipset tab, i tick the OCS chipset, and then the Full collision detection (i don't remember now the exact name of the option). When i tick the second, all chipset checkboxes (OCS, ECS and AGA) are un ticked:S. Last edited by Ariath; 23 January 2015 at 18:00. |

liveevil,
Install apk and run, via gui you can configure path to kickstart rom. Floppy image format - ADF or others (i not checked) GUI still in development. If you need precise setting, try to use manual editing .uaerc file at android/data/anddev.euae.sdl/files directory |

lubomyr - Am I correct in assuming this was superseded by your UAE4ALL2?

I not had any plans with replacing development one emulator with another. I think sometimes both emu(s) will be updated.

Does either this or UAE4ALL support CDRom images? I have a collection of CD32 games I'd love to play on my Android box!
