REQ: WORKING Dylan Dog WHDload

Hello,

Does anyone have a working version of this game with WHDload?

I can't seem to get a version working with the latest slave without an error:

Function 'resload_DiskLoad' called
with unacceptable arguments

This happens with all versions of whdload i've tried.

It will play the intro and a few title pics but it'll crash before you can even start the game.

In then gives you another error saying that WHDload has failed and the options to susped or reboot. (this doesn't happen on earlier whdload versions e.g. 14.5)

Still haven't come across a working copy.

i have same problrm only solution new option:
NoResInt/S which disables any interrupts during
execution of resload functions

Right...

it seems that the resload_Control issue was fixed a while back, but once again I find myself with a non-working copy.

I've uploaded it to the zone, if someone can check it that'd be great.

I've only tested it on WinUAE at the moment, I get an address error when starting the game.

Alternatively, if someone has a different version that does work (slave version 1.3), just upload that instead.

Got the same address error at the start. I had a preinstalled version with slave v1.2, but can't find it anymore.

Edit: Found v1.2 here:

http://www.ppa.pl/rodzynki/dylandogmurderers.php

Copy slave v1.3 to this preinstalled version and it works fine.

Yes, BUT it worked the first time i've tried. Played it some minutes. But after trying it again i get an resload error, even with slave v1.3. Crazy WHDLoad.

Edit: Sometimes it works with slave v1.3, sometimes not. Yep, the latest slave seems to be buggy. Press "Suspend" after the reload error and start again.

Your installed version is probably unsupported, i get always an address error or illegal instruction.

Anyway, the "sometimes" working version with slave v1.3 is in the Zone. At least you have supported disk images of Dylan Dog.

OMG, it works for me without any probs! Dylan Dog 1.2 with WHD Load 15.0. I played it for few hours.
