Blizzard 1260 questions
I'm thinking of buying Blizzard 1260 (I can get it cheap) and I have a few
questions  .I have a 2B revision motherboard, will this combination work? I saw in past posts that this revision has problems with 060 accelerators. Does it overheat when installed in normal A1200 case? |

No, it doesn't overheat in standard cases, and no, based on my experience, the 2B is not compatible with any 060 accelerator unless you get the motherboard bugs fixed. Other people seem to have different different experiences with 060 boards, but I've tried three 060 accelerators (one Apollo and two Blizzards) in about a dozen 1d.4 and 2B motherboards and had no luck with any of them.

All motherboards but the 1d.4 and 2B work perfectly with any accelerator. Those two boards have a timing fault that causes crashes with 040 and 060 accelerators. I've got a 1d.1 board here, and that has no problems with a Blizzard 060. My modified 1d.4 board has no problems either.

Just bought a replacement mobo rev 1D4, guess i have to do that fix for it like my previous 1D4 had.

The only fix i should do, maybe today. is the flickering stuff..... =)

weird
I have apollo 040 and rev 14d mobo, I have heard that people haven't get anything work with that compination.
With 3.0 roms it works 100%, put if I put 3.1 roms it doesn't even try to boot, but I can succesfully load 3.1 roms with RemApollo. I had 2b mobo it doesn't worked at all 3.0 or 3.1 roms |
