If i die on the last level (or at the end of the previous level), it normally takes me about 10-15 lives to get through the last level.

All the other levels you get a chance to build up again.

Level 3 can be a little tricky to build up on.
However the end-of-level boss is by far the easiest in the game.
I'll have another go later and see how it turns out.

True, but i rarely die on that one, have a special technique!

Level 3??? I have problems building up even on level 1, if I die mid-level...

The run I posted here I got to the second boss with only one life. It's not a bad shoot 'em up (kinda like how the horizontal and vertical orientation varies), but like john said the 'one hit = dead' bit is a tad too frustrating for my age

Ah well, maybe I give it another go on Saturday.

TCD, just keep practicing and memorize the patterns.
Once you have done that, it's not really that hard.
