Top 10 Amiga Games never heard of
I saw
[ Show youtube player ] a while back and I definitely had never heard of these games. In particular, OnEscapee caught my eye. Others in video part 1 (of 3) include:
What do you all think and have you played these before? Personally I think we've seen so many best/worst compilation lists that it's refreshing to find some new titles to sample. |

Actually, I found OnEscapee in the app store on iPhone so I had sampled it that way. But I'm switching to Ubuntu phone now so until they get the backend working for LibreOffice, FS-UAE etc to work on the phone I'll probably be playing them on my A1200 if I can get WHD load to work.

Some games are too big for whdload, Land of Genesis and T-zero must be first installed. Also they need patches. And after all that they are enjoyable games

I played them all, also, I wouldn't say they are unheared ones maybe for someone who left amiga scene in 94-98. Just some games from this list were unreleased and surfaced later.

You might ask lifeschool how he played them via pm, since he's making the Lemonamiga videos and has an account here as well.

gimbal: I haven't played it, if that was directed at me.
I've only played OnEscapee so far. But I've just looked at Jim Powers and Land of Genesis and they look quite good even in the longplay so I'll probably emulate those next. |

Snow Bros is no wonder you hadnt heard before, as if i recall right, it was released only couple of years ago through amigagamesthatwerent.com or something like that (i could only find gamesthatwerent.com and it didnt have that there).
Originally made long ago, but not released until recently. |

Despite that video, from the sentence "Top 10 Amiga Games You've Never Even Heard About!" I would like to know who is meant as "YOU". I think most of the games from the list are well known classics and only some Amiga noobs haven't heard about them

Hmm yeah.. I've heard of them all, but maybe this is more like to people who only were around at the best days of A500 in late 80s and very early 90s, but haven't followed Amiga since. Maybe who even didn't own Amigas, but played them at friends etc. And of course some games seem to get more publicity than others in mainstream media.. if someone hasn't digged any deeper than browsing the topics only.
But definitely well-known if you still have read Amiga mags etc after the fall of Commodore... but of course many dropped Amiga then and for that audience this works I think Good to show that there were quality releases in later days too. |

Fightin' Spirit was a total surprise. I hadn't heard of it before coming across it just randomly launching WHD installs.
Intro gave me a chuckle, even that was actually pretty cool. But the game blew me away. Both ECS and AGA versions look damn fine and play well. CD32 version: [ Show youtube player ] |
