AROS, Morphos and AmiagOS 4
How to write programs that work on all plattforms without requiring special support libs (like muimaster) to be installed everywhere ... but just by writing 100% os-based.
I know AROS uses an interface like MUI and Morphos uses MUI. What if a program is written to run under AROS, will it compile or even run without recompiling under Amiga OS 4? Can the Amiag OS 4 GUI (supposedly reactor/boopsi or such) be used from a Program that was written under AROS just by changing the include paths or easiely like that? I'm specially interested in an AROS to Amiga OS 4 solution as I am currently equipped with an Athlon machine that can run AROS until I get a Pegesos II with Amiga OS 4. I want to participate with the newest developements. Last edited by PseudoDOS; 31 July 2004 at 16:32. |
